Astronomical evenings at 1620mt of altitude
Four nights to observe the celestial vault from another perspective, thanks to the telescopes of the “Mount Zugna Astronomical Observatory”, just a few kilometers away from Rovereto.
The Astronomical Observatory, managed by the “Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto”, can be found on Mount Zugna.
Here, under the 4mt tall dome, you will be able to use two telescopes, to observe the celestial bodies of the period. Guided, with the aid of experts of the Astronomical Area of the “Museo Civico”, you will be able to admire the celestial vault with your naked eye, and delve into space-related themes, thanks to thematic lessons.

- Saturday 20th of December at 5.00pm
- Saturday 10th of January at 5.30pm | second session at 8pm
- Saturday 24th of January at 6.00pm | second session at 8pm
- Saturday 21st of February at 6.00pm | second sesssion at 8.30pm
- Saturday 14th of March at 7pm | second session at 9.30pm
The second session will be available once the first session reaches full capacity.
Dinner in the lodge
Available only during the first session on the 20th of December and the 10th of January.
To continue the experience in the best way, you will be able to savour excellent dishes at “Rifugio Monte Zugna”, only a few meters away from the Observatory, so to conclude the night on a high note!
