Crib festival "El Paes dei Presepi"

The small village of Miola on Altopiano di Piné has become famous over time for El Paés dei Cribs.
The event celebrates the custom of the inhabitants to set up dozens and dozens of cribs, some handcrafted and others of considerable artistic value, such as the mobile crib of the Anesin Family, on the windows and in the ancient arcades during the Christmas period. It is a real tradition that is enriched by games among the nativity scenes and lots of entertainment for the whole family.

Among the initiatives:

• DISCOVER the HIDDEN object: find the mysterious objects among the cribs and search for René, scan the QR Codes and win!
• The CHRISTMAS TRAIN: connection between Miola and Baselga di Piné
• DELIZIE A KM 0: a food and wine festival to introduce you to the best of local produce
  7 December: Festa della Polenta
  26 December: Canederlo Festival with the Mestieri en strada (artisans at work)
  December 28: Potato Tortel Festival
  4 January: Festival of Luganega and Scodeghin
• MAGICAL WORKSHOPS: to enrich winter with creativity and beauty
  7/12 – The magic of Christmas in a candle: we will make a small Christmas candle with beeswax and lavender hydrolat
  14/12 – Honey flower soap: we will make soap made from shea butter, honey, beeswax and flower petals
  20/12 – Natural Christmas garland: we will make a Christmas garland with what nature offers us
  27/12 – Bees and flowers in a stick: we will make a lip stick based on calendula oil and beeswax with the addition of essential oil
  03/01 – Bees and flowers in warm wool: we will make a bee and a flower with the nice technique of pompoms.

  26 December - Mestieri en Strada
  27 December - THE NIGHT OF THE REINDEER: Experience for the first time at night the magic of the cribs, the lights that illuminate the wraps, the Christmas trees and the houses on the Serraia lakefront. In Piazza San Rocco Live music from 19.00 to 20.30 and until 22.00 the tourist train in connection with the center of Basel for an after-hours shopping.
  6 January - LA BEFANA ARRIVES: A day to discover
• ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVERYONE: The house of 1000 nativity scenes; the "Snow, Selfie & Smiles" corners, the downtown shops open, the refreshment point in Miola and much more.
