The 29th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz descends from the huts on the slopes to the village for a concert by a young promise of Ladin and classical music
From 7 to 16 March, the "jazz track" crosses the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme with concerts on the terraces of the refuges, in clubs, theatres and squares. From Canazei to Cavalese, all the way to Cembra: the Dolomiti Ski Jazz proposes also this year as many as 25 concerts. Warm rhythms such as jazz, but also blues, funk and Latin music will create thrilling contrasts with the snow-covered scenery of the Dolomites. Artists from the international scene will perform in the evenings in the clubs and theatres of the villages, while during the day they will take to the mountains, on the terraces of the mountain huts, some of which can also be reached by non-skiers. The festival will move day after day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to the Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.

Martina Iori, a refined 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Canazei in the Fassa Valley, has always had a passion for songwriting. Having graduated in violin at the Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano, she gained her first major recognition in 2014 with the original song in the Ladin language "Via con mia mùsega". With this song, she won first prize at the SUNS Festival in Udine and at the prestigious international competition for music in minority languages, the Liet International in Oldenburg. Since then, Martina has continued her musical career performing with her band in various European countries, including Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. She currently lives in Finland, where she studies at the Helsinki Music Academy. There, she devotes herself mainly to classical music, collaborating with important orchestras and music organisations, including the Accademia della Scala and the Arena di Verona orchestra.
