The Radio Italia Winterland Tour returns in 2025 with a special edition celebrating its tenth anniversary. An unmissable event for lovers of snow, music, and shared emotions, it is the first and only itinerant winter holiday village that brings music, fun, and the magic of radio to the most fascinating snow-covered peaks of Italy. It promises to be spectacular with many new features.
Produced and organized by Radio Italia and William Blake, the Radio Italia Winterland Tour will visit 8 important ski resorts in Italy: January 18-19 Gressoney La Trinité (AO), January 25-26 Limone Piemonte (CN), February 1-2 La Thuile (AO), February 8-9 Madesimo (SO), February 15-16 Bardonecchia (TO), February 22-23 Folgaria (TN), March 1-2 Tonale (BS), March 8-9 Prato Nevoso (CN).
The music and animation of Radio Italia, led by Luca Abbrescia, a historic radio speaker and face of the Milanese Imbruttito, will be live throughout the weekend. From 4:00 PM on Saturday, there will be the Winterland Après Ski in the center of the village, featuring a DJ set by Radio Italia.
Everyone will have the chance to dance, sing, take a ride on the spectacular Winterland hot air balloon, which is free to access, play on the large inflatable games, and enjoy the many Great Attractions offered by the tour partners. A food and drink area will also be available. The weekend program will be enriched on Saturday by the Winterland Challenge, which will give participants the chance to win a guaranteed prize and accumulate points that will be assigned to the location where the Radio Italia Winterland Tour stops. At the end of the tour, the Winter Trophy will be awarded to the most active ski resort based on certain parameters: the number of people who rode the hot air balloon, the number of participants in Catch the Animals, and the points achieved by the public in the Winterland Challenge. The awards ceremony will be held in Milan at the Radio Italia studios.
The village will be open both in the morning and in the afternoon, offering free use of games and activities that will be available throughout the day.
