A food and wine walk of 11 km along the “Sentiero dell’Acqua” (Water Trail), through ancient mills and sawmills, across the charming villages of San Sebastiano, Tezzeli, Cueli-Liberi, Carbonare, Prà di Sopra, and Nosellari. Immersed in nature, the route is easy and suitable for everyone, including families with children.
It’s a journey back in time, where the protagonists are not actors, but the actual inhabitants of these villages. They open the doors of their homes and old vaults, display objects passed down from their ancestors, and share true stories and anecdotes with the passion of those who deeply love their land.
Along the route, you’ll find special “Tasting Points” where participants can enjoy local specialties, all made exclusively on the Alpe Cimbra!

Informative boards along the path tell the story of these places.
The cultural heritage of these mountain farms will be accompanied by the sound of the Astico stream. Colors and flavors come together in a unique and pleasurable experience. Along the way, you’ll meet musicians, lace-makers, and characters from alpine life.
A one-of-a-kind event full of history, nature, and culinary pleasures. For the 2025 edition, 1,000 participants are expected. Walkers can start from San Sebastiano at any time between 8:00 and 11:00, choosing their own pace. The final arrival in Nosellari must be by 4:00 p.m.

Free shuttle service:
From 8:00 a.m., from Hotel Bivio car park in Nosellari to San Sebastiano
It is recommended to park in Nosellari (sports field) and use the shuttle
Staggered departures:
Groups of 142 people every 30 minutes
Last departure at 11:00
Participants not using the shuttle can arrive at the start in San Sebastiano anytime between 8:00 and 11:00
Route overview:
The walk begins in San Sebastiano, descends to Val Freda, and continues through Telder and Orbat to the village of Cueli-Liberi. From there, the route follows the “Sentiero dell’Acqua” to the Ponte dei Leoni and then reaches Carbonare. The path then climbs to the Capitel and proceeds to Prà di Sopra, the second-to-last stop before the final destination in Nosellari.
The 11 km route is entirely surrounded by nature and is suitable for everyone, including children.
