NEW YEAR'S EVE 2026 - CELEBRATIONS IN TRENTO'S PIAZZA DUOMO CONCERT - SHOW BY PATAGARRI, THEN DANCING UNTIL 2 AM

For the evening of 31 December (free admission starting at 7 pm), the X Factor revelation band will take its music out of the box on stage, giving life to a dynamic and engaging show, which will accompany the audience until the arrival of midnight in the company of Radio Dolomiti: together with the arrival of the new year, the 50 years of activity of the broadcaster will be celebrated.

The New Year 2026 in Trento will be a great collective party that will unite all generations in the name of music, fun and the desire to greet the arrival of the new year together. To animate it, in Piazza Duomo, in an event with free admission and created in collaboration with Radio Dolomiti, will be a lively and quality line-up that will start at 7 pm and that will have the most anticipated guests in the Patagarri.

The Milanese band, a revelation of the 2024 edition of X Factor, will bring its original and distinctive style to the stage: a mix of tight swing, gypsy jazz atmospheres, manouche rhythm and energetic arrangements that transform the great Italian classics into songs all to dance to. The quintet — vocals, guitar, winds and rhythm section — has been appreciated for its ability to combine technique and lightness, with tributes ranging from Paolo Conte to Ray Charles, through Django Reinhardt, in a fresh and immediate formula. After a season with over forty concerts and a growing attention from the public and the media, the Patagarri will give life to a dynamic show (from 10.30 pm) accompanying the spectators until the countdown in a great party shared with Radio Dolomiti, which for the occasion will celebrate its 50th birthday: it was on December 24, 1975, when the adventure of the first private radio station in Trentino (and one of the first in Italy) began, thanks to the intuition and courage of its founder, Angelo De Tisi. It will therefore be a feast in the feast for those who make it and for the whole community that listens to it, supports it and lives it every day. An ideal time to get together, recognize each other and pay homage to a piece of local history.

The evening will kick off at 7 pm with an engaging DJ set by Willy Caldonazzi, a historic Trentino DJ and voice of Radio Dolomiti, who will propose a musical selection designed specifically for this event, made even more special by the double celebration. Then, at 8.15 pm, the Punto Gezz will take the stage, a Trentino quintet that reinterprets Italian and international pop songs, but also classics from the 80s and 90s, in jazz, swing and bossa, with an elegant style, never plastered, and a hint of irony. At 21:15 it will be the turn of Ostello California, the first tribute band from Trentino dedicated to the Eagles: seven musicians united by a passion for the sound of the west coast and careful to propose vocal and instrumental arrangements faithful to the original.

The party will continue with a DJ set until 2:00 am, during which the audience will be able to unleash themselves on the notes of the hits of the moment and timeless successes. An intense show of lights, colours and projections will create an electrifying environment, enhancing the sound experience and accompanying every moment of the evening. An area with houses dedicated to local food and wine will be set up in Piazza Duomo, where you can taste local specialities and products, while bars and clubs in the historic centre will offer menus and dedicated proposals, helping to transform the entire centre into a great urban itinerary of the festival, which will have its highlight in the concert in the square.
