A refined tribute to the Modern Jazz Quartet, combining elegant swing, contemporary vibes and sound experimentation
The Post Modern 4tet brings to the stage an elegant and contemporary reinterpretation of the Modern Jazz Quartet's universe, with great attention to tone and a sense of balance. Mauro Berteotti's piano and Alessandro Bianchini's vibraphone intertwine lines and colours with Marco Arienti's double bass and Alessandro Ruocco's drums, in a precise and light dialogue, where chamber music meets a measured but pulsating swing. The result is a concert that pays homage to one of the most iconic groups in the history of jazz without nostalgia: tradition becomes living matter, transforming itself into a new, refined and at the same time immediate sound experience.
The culture and music association "La Grenz", a long-standing partner of the Dolomiti Ski Jazz and Val di Fassa Panorama Music festivals, is opening the doors of its club for a series of unmissable concerts. In the informal and friendly atmosphere that has always characterised this iconic venue in Moena, musicians and audiences will come together to enjoy evenings of good music, immersed in the tradition that has seen some of the greatest artists on the international jazz scene perform on stage.
