Camposilvano's Christmas Village
The spell of a Christmas Village between snowy hills and villages lit by candlelight
The small village of Camposilvano will shine with the Christmas lights, welcoming everyone in an atmosphere of celebration and tradition.
Wander through the slopes of Pasubio and soak up the genuine warmth of a mountain village. You will find a wide selection of handicrafts, local sweets and Christmas decorations in the alleys of the village, the representation of the Nativity curated by the “Museo della Civiltà Contadina” di Vallarsa, the ancient tradition of Krampus and much more.
Programme
Saturday, 6th of December
- 2:00 PM | Create your Christmas wreath immersed in the mountain atmosphere. Workshop curated by Associazione ALTEA di Vallarsa.
- 4:00 PM, along the village streets and at designated points | Opening of the Christmas market and food & wine stalls.
- 4:00–6:30 PM | Children’s entertainment themed around the Grinch.
- 5:00 PM, Contrà de là | Living Nativity scene, in collaboration with the Museo della Civiltà Contadina di Vallarsa.
- 6:30 PM, Playground | Concert by the Rock and Christmas Band.
- 9:00 PM | Closing of the event.
Sunday, 7th of December
- 10:30 AM, along the village streets and at designated points | Opening of the Christmas market and food & wine stalls.
- 11:00 AM–4:00 PM | Children’s entertainment themed around the Grinch.
- 4:00 PM, Contrà de là | Living Nativity scene, in collaboration with the Museo della Civiltà Contadina di Vallarsa.
- 5:00 PM | Parade and performance by the Krampus group “Zimbar Taifel”, curated by the Pro Loco di Vallarsa.
- 9:00 PM | Closing of the event.
On both days, along the route, “Die Original Fleimstaler” will perform with their accordions and plenty of folklore.
On Saturday from 3:30 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM, a shuttle bus will be available from Passo Pian delle Fugazze. The provincial road SP219 will remain closed from Passo Pian delle Fugazze to Camposilvano.
