Terragnolo – Nadal en Val
Christmas is approaching, bringing with it a wave of magic, delicious dishes, and moments of togetherness. The Municipality of Terragnolo is also dressed for the festivities!
- Saturday, 6th of December, 2:00–4:00 PM, Chiesa Ss. Pietro e Paolo, frazione Piazza | Costruiamo insieme il presepe, curated by the Parish Group. A workshop for everyone to help set up the Nativity scene of the Parish Church of Piazza.
- Saturday, 6th of December, 5:00 PM, frazione Stedileri | Staydileri, curated by the residents of Stedileri and Rebut APS. Sweet, savoury and… lots of cheer! Snacks, hot drinks, and musical entertainment await you.
- Sunday, 7th of December, 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, frazione Piazza | Festa di Santa Barbara, curated by the Volunteer Firefighters of Terragnolo and the Club Bisorte. In the morning, Holy Mass for the celebration of Santa Barbara. In the afternoon, the fire station opens to the public followed by a snack for everyone.
- Monday, 8th of December, 10:00 AM, former school, frazione Zoreri | Opening of the Christmas market, curated by Donne di Terragnolo and supporters. The traditional Zoreri Christmas market returns: an eagerly awaited event full of handmade creations and original ideas for special gifts. Opening times: 13th and 20th of December, 2:00–7:00 PM; 14th and 21st of December, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM.
- Friday, 12th of December, 8:00 PM, Theatre, frazione Piazza | Giornata internazionale della Montagna, curated by Rebut APS. An event part of the international festival “Leggere le montagne”, organised by the Alpine Convention, which brings together International Mountain Day events worldwide.
- Friday, 12th of December, 4:30 PM, Punto Lettura, frazione Piazza | S. Lucia tra le righe, curated by the volunteers of the Terragnolo Reading Point. While waiting for Santa Lucia, an afternoon of children’s readings and a tasty snack to share.
- Saturday, 13th of December, 2:00–7:00 PM, frazione Potrich | Auguri in Paese, curated by Terragnolo Che Conta APS, ANA Gruppo Alpini Terragnolo, Gruppo Costumi Tradizionali Terragnolo. Vin brulé and fanzelto: the perfect ingredients for an afternoon filled with Christmas atmosphere!
- Sunday, 14th of December, 4:00 PM, frazione Geroli | Do ciacere spetando Nadal, curated by the residents of Geroli and Rebut APS. Christmas means being together: enjoy a convivial afternoon with traditional sweets, hot drinks, and the magical holiday spirit.
- Tuesday, 16th of December, 8:30 PM, Theatre, frazione Piazza | Da loro a noi… ma pur sempre donne, curated by the theatre group Le Teragnole and Rebut APS. A show honouring women of yesterday and today: a timeless dialogue between generations, weaving stories, dreams, fears, and hopes.
- Friday, 19th of December, 8:00 PM, Pro Loco headquarters, frazione Zoreri | Briscola tournament, curated by Pro Loco di Zoreri APS. A pairs briscola tournament to keep tradition alive: who will be this year’s winning duo?
- Saturday, 20th of December, 5:30 PM, Pro Loco headquarters, frazione Zoreri | Camminata tra i presepi, curated by Pro Loco di Zoreri APS. A charming evening walk among more than 60 Nativity scenes, with tasting stops, storytelling, and entertainment along the route.
- Sunday, 21st of December, 3:30 PM, Sala Civica G. Mattuzzi, frazione Piazza | Merenda con i nonni, curated by Cooperativa Vales, Eco Lab, and the Circolo Pensionati e Anziani di Terragnolo APS. An afternoon dedicated to those who walk slowly but love deeply: warm tea, cookies, and do ciacere in good company.Wednesday, 24th of December, 4:00 PM, Osteria 33, frazione Piazza | Aspettando Babbo Natale, curated by Osteria 33. Santa’s snack with berry herbal tea and spiced cookies.
- Wednesday, 24th of December, 8:00 PM, frazione Zoreri | Arriva Babbo Natale, curated by Pro Loco di Zoreri APS. Santa Claus arrives in Terragnolo! Lots of gifts for children, sweets and vin brulé for the grown-ups!
- Wednesday, 24th of December, midnight, frazione Piazza | Augurandoci buon Natale, curated by ANA Gruppo Alpini Terragnolo. After Christmas Mass, the Alpini invite everyone to exchange holiday greetings with a glass of vin brulé and a slice of panettone.
- Friday, 26th of December, 5:00 PM, Theatre, frazione Piazza | Screening of a Christmas animated film, curated by the volunteers of the Terragnolo Reading Point. A family-friendly afternoon at the movies!

- Tuesday, 30th of December, 6:00 PM, Osteria 33, frazione Piazza | Aspettando Capodanno, curated by Osteria 33. Capricorn cocktail and fried supplì for a night together as we wait for New Year’s Eve!
- Sunday, 4th of January, 5:00 PM, Theatre, frazione Piazza | Screening of a Christmas animated film, curated by the volunteers of the Terragnolo Reading Point. Second round of Christmas cartoons—are the popcorn ready?
- Tuesday, 6th of January, 4:00 PM, Sala Civica G. Mattuzzi, frazione Piazza | Arriva la Befana!, curated by ANA Gruppo Alpini Terragnolo. The Befana arrives with gifts for the children. Followed by refreshments for all.

Numerous events are scheduled between December and January, thanks to associations, clubs, and the valley’s residents.
- Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th of December, frazione Camposilvano | Villaggio di Natale di Camposilvano. The enchantment of a Christmas village among snowy hills and candlelit hamlets. On Sunday, 7th of December, the traditional Krampus parade returns, curated by the Zimbar Taifel Group. More information available.
- From Saturday, 13th of December 2025 to Sunday, 1st of February 2026, frazione Riva | Ice skating rink at Circolo Lamber, Riva di Vallarsa. Open on weekends in December and January and during the Christmas holidays, 2:00–6:00 PM. More information available.
- From Saturday, 20th of December 2025 to Sunday, 11th of January 2026, frazione Matassone | MatiLori – il Paese dei Presepi 2025. At the former school building, a display of Nativity scenes created by village volunteers, open on weekends without booking and on weekdays by reservation at 3473554608 or at the Circolo Operaio of Matassone. Permanent exhibition of small Nativity scenes and rural corners throughout the village. On the opening and closing weekends (20th and 21st of December, 10th and 11th of January), charity market with traditional food stalls, sweets, hot dishes, chestnuts, and brulé.
