End-of-summer event dedicated to rural traditions and Rendena breed cows.
A full week dedicated to rediscovering the rural roots of Val Rendena, celebrating tradition, identity, and a deep passion for livestock farming. The star of the event is the Rendena heifer, a symbol of a land that for centuries relied on cattle breeding as one of its few means of survival. Today, just as in the past, the parade honors the strong bond between the community and the mountains, with over 150 animals proudly making their way through the center of Pinzolo.
The program includes the enchanting election of the “Reginetta di Pinzolo” (Queen Heifer), tastings of local products, workshops, live music, and activities for all ages. It's a truly authentic opportunity to experience the territory, discover its history, and soak in a genuine atmosphere made of age-old traditions, friendly smiles, and rural pride.

SATURDAY 30 AUGUST
"Giovenche" Music Fest
6 p.m.: Event opening, bar service.
7.00 p.m.: Kitchen opening with polenta carbonera and Trentino meat hamburger.
9.00 p.m.: Live music with the Peter Trakor band followed by ‘Special guest’: Hilary Voice, DJS and Voice (Alex the voice - Simone Quai - Dada Giulio P - Dennis Zeta).
MONDAY 1 SEPTEMBER
Creative workshops for children.
4.00 p.m.: Creative workshops for children at the Portico Paladolomiti Pinzolo.
Creative workshops organised by the Pinzolo Municipal Library for children aged 6 to 10.
TUESDAY 2 SEPTEMBER
Razza Rendena heifers: meadows, pastures and farms.
8.45 a.m.: at the car park south of the Caderzone Terme church. This will be followed by a fascinating walk in the Caderzone plain, accompanied by a Park expert to discover the long and precious tradition of Rendena breeding.
Together, you will visit a stable that raises Rendena breed cows using organic methods and the Agricultural Museum of the Maso Pan farm.
Everything will be accompanied by a delicious breakfast with tasting of typical local products
9.00 p.m.: Paladolomiti Pinzolo - Themed film screening.
WEDNESDAY 3 SEPTEMBER
Visit to the Razza Rendena Educational Farms.
2 p.m.: Azienda Agricola Fattoria Antica Rendena.
We will spend a few hours in close contact with animals and the farmer's life.
5.30 pm: Paladolomiti Pinzolo - Themed film screening.
THURSDAY 4 SEPTEMBER
Rendena Cow's Milk Cheese Contest
8.00 a.m.: at alimentari Caola - Bollicine di montagna (Mountain Bubbles Hall), cheese contest based on milk from Rendena cows.
Judging reserved for the contest jury.
8.30 p.m.: At the Paladolomiti di Pinzolo, final round of the competition, talks by experts.
Presentation of participating dairies and farms.
Award ceremony for the winners.
FRIDAY 5 SEPTEMBER
Rendena Food Festival
From 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.: Opening of the FARM VILLAGE selling local products.
7.00 p.m.: Rendena Food Festival, an event aimed at promoting the gastronomic excellence of our territory in a modern key.
Musical entertainment!
9.00 p.m.: Entertainment and live Turbofolk music with ‘Fiamaz and his associates’.
SATURDAY 6 SEPTEMBER
Breeder's Day and election of the queen.
9 a.m.: Grouping of heifers near the exhibition field.
From 9.30 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Selection of the 20 finalists for the evening.
10 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Farmer's village selling local products.
12.30 p.m.: Typical lunch at the festival hall.
4.30 p.m.: Parade through the streets of Pinzolo opened by the 2023 queen.
6.00 p.m.: Concert by the bands - dancing - cheese-making demonstration.
7.00 p.m.: Typical dinner.
7.45 p.m.: Young conductor competition.
8.15 pm: Final exhibition of heifers, election of queen and lottery draw.
10.00 p.m.: Award ceremony for the Pinzolo 2024 queen.
From 10.30 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Folk and music with the ‘Dolomiten Bier Band’.
