MTB experience in the Fassa Dolomites
Two days of guided tours at altitude on the most spectacular trails in Val di Fassa, including the legendary Sellaronda MTB Tour, with a night in a refuge at 2000 metres: an unforgettable adventure for bikers!
Have you been training for the whole season because you have always dreamed of riding on the most beautiful trails in the Dolomites? The right opportunity has arrived: Val di Fassa fulfils your wishes, on 27th and 28th September, with the holiday package "MTB Experience in the Fassa Dolomites". Two days of high-altitude excursions in the company of local bike guides await you. From Canazei you will reach Val Contrin. After a night in a mountain hut at 2000 metres, get back in the saddle, descend to the valley to take the lifts and join the Sellaronda MTB Tour, the most coveted tour, in summer and winter, of the four passes of the Dolomites.
Programme on Friday 27 September:
- 15:30 - meeting at the valley station of the "Ciampac" lifts in Alba di Canazei
- 15:45- departure with the bike guides to Val Contrin (trail no. 602; 12.3 km; altitude difference 535 m; difficulty S2)
- about 17:45 - arrival and accommodation at Contrin Refuge
- about 18:15 - "Aperitif in pink". Waiting for the magic of the "Enrosadira", welcome aperitif with cold meats and cheeses from the "Carpano" gastronomy, paired with "Trentodoc" classic method mountain bubbles
- 19:30 - dinner with Trentino products and recipes; relaxation and goodnight herbal tea from the "Fiores" farm, based on mountain herbs and flowers
Programme on Saturday 28 September:
- 07:00 - rich and healthy breakfast at the refuge with milk, yoghurt and jams, as well as many other local sweet and savoury delicacies
- 07:45 - departure and descent to Alba di Canazei, along the same route taken the previous day
- 08:45 - arrival in Alba and delivery of the packed lunch, the gourmet "Cheesenic", with km0 products from the "Carpano" gastronomy
- 09:00 - ascent by cable car to "Col dei Rossi" and departure for the Sellaronda MTB Tour (counter-clockwise; 58.6 km; altitude difference 1050 m; difficulty S2)
- approx. 16:30 - return to Canazei
Price: 170 € per person (adults).
The price includes: Dolomiti Supersummer card for the lifts; 2 tours with bike guide; narrated aperitif in the company of local producers; gourmet packed lunch; dinner, overnight stay (in multiple rooms, bathrooms may be shared) and breakfast at the refuge. Drinks in the hut and anything not specified in the package are not included and are the responsibility of the participants.
Note: it is necessary to be equipped with a e-MTB full suspension, helmet, gloves and charger. Possibility of rental on site (for availability and shop openings contact our tourist offices). A limited number of activities reserved for intermediate bikers (NOT beginners), able to tackle off-road trails and unpaved forest roads.
