Trail of the pyramids of Segonzano

A tour among the pyramids of Segonzano, the men of Segonzano “I òmeni de Segonzan” a rare and fascinating geological phenomenon

<p>The trail Sentiero delle Piramidi takes us to discover one of the most fascinating geological phenomena of the all Trentino area: the earth pyramids.</p> <p>Along the valley formed by the brook Rio Regnana, a small valley on the side of the valley Val di Cembra, an ancient glacial deposit eroded by water formed some high earth pinnacles with a big stone hat on the top and some peaks coming out from the wood. The big pinnacles with a big stone on the top remind to some human figures: the men (òmeni) of Segonzano. The pinnacles reach important heights and thanks to this trail you can have a closer look at them and fully appreciate their majesty.</p> <p>Attention: during summer time you will need to pay a few euros ticket to enter this trail.</p>
