Nestled between Lake Garda and Monte Altissimo, Arpa di Pietra is a unique place surrounded by two hectars of dry-stone wall terraced fields, on the edge of the woods. Our brand-new green building only offers six rooms: a small oasis where you will find serenity and wellness, a shrine where you will have the opportunity to enjoy nature in the fresh air and taste it in our strictly organic and zero km dishes. And after a long day spent mountain-biking, climbing or strolling in the woods, why not rest in our wellness centre? You will find the bio sauna with herbs, the Finnish sauna, the whirlpools, the emotional shower and comfortable nestling seats covered with ancient aromatic wood boards.
In musical jargon these words describe the character of a movement, at Arpa di Pietra they are the names of our beautiful rooms.
Adagio and Andante set a slow and interior rhythm tuning with the seasons and the agricultural tasks of these ancient lands of Val di Gresta. Allegro resonates with the contrasts of light and with the vastness of the views stretching from Mount Altissimo to the bed of Lake Garda. Presto is the Lake Garda wind blowing from the South at noon and merging the woods’ essences with the springs’ water. Brio owns the centuries-old power of terracings, rocks and stones of Mount Biaena and Mount Stivo. Vivace is the infinite essence of the sky, the sun and the stars that light up the nights in Val di Gresta.

Why such a particular name? We borrowed it from Aldo Gorfer, a Trentino landscape historian and author of “Terra mia”, where he describes the dry-stone wall terraces of Val di Gresta with these words:
