Built at the top station of the old cable car that came up from Fai della Paganella (now dismantled), the Rifugio Dosso Larici still serves the ski slopes of the Paganella Ski area. Skiers flock here during the winter season, while in summer the Refuge is also a focal point for mountain bike enthusiasts (who have the run of the network of trails that make up the Dolomiti Paganella Bike circuit). It also organises various activities for children, including walking along the footpaths in the area with the Peruvian lamas that many children immediately take to. Open From mid-June to mid-September From mid-December to late March Before leaving for your hike, always contact the manager to verify the actual opening of the mountain hut Walks From Rifugio Dosso Larici you can climb to the summit of Paganella (La Roda) in 1 hour (difficulty E). From there you can continue to Malga Zambana (1 hour, difficulty E) or Monte Gazza (3 hours, difficulty E) via Passo San Antonio. The entire northern side of the Paganella is covered by a network of trails for mountain bike enthusiasts. The Rifugio Dosso Larici is bike friendly!
