Lower Giudicarie bike path
The route of the Giudicarie Inferiori cycling path covers a distance of about 20 kilometres. It starts from the Chiese river delta on the shores of Lago d’Idro, passes through Storo, and crosses the towns of the Valley all the way to Bondo.
The place of “judgement”: not of your physical condition, but in a historical sense. This is the land of the seven Parishes, and therefore of the seven main churches. There are many places of artistic interest along the route, from the Santa Maria Parish church in Condino to the church of Santa Giustina in Pieve di Bono. The cycling-hiking path is an excellent starting point to discover the signs left in the territory by the Great War, like walkways, trenches, and posts.

Pra di Bondo
Turn-by-turn directions
It starts from the shores of Lago di Idro in Baitoni, on the border with the province of Brescia, and climbs, mainly following the route of the Chiese river, ending up in Cologna, a hamlet that is part of Pieve di Bono. Almost 2 Km from the start of the track, a secondary branch in the trail connects the Lago d’Idro with the town of Storo, running alongside the Palvico river. Another cycling lane connects Bondo to Lardaro, passing by the small but picturesque lake of Roncone. This is the land of the seven Parishes, and therefore of the seven main churches. There are many places of artistic interest along the route, from the Santa Maria Parish church in Condino - where you can stop at the “Bicigrill” - to the church of Santa Giustina in Pieve di Bono. The cycling-hiking trail is an excellent starting point to discover the signs left in the territory by the Great War, like walkways, trenches, and posts.
