Turn-by-turn directions

From the parking area, you follow the directions for trail 707, in the direction of Rifugio Treviso. You walk along the road that enters Val Canali. The forest road, which at first is paved, leads to the left hand side of the Canali River, and heads into the woods. Where the forest road ends, a wide path begins, which, with many roots and stones, winds its way decisively up the steep slope that leads up to the Rifugio Treviso. In this way, you reach the mountain hut located on the panoramic rocky outcrop at an altitude of 1628 m, at the feet of the Sass d’Ortiga.

To return, you follow the same route backwards.

Getting there

You reach Fiera di Primiero along road SS50. In Tonadico, you turn onto road SS347 in the direction of Passo Cereda, Val Canali. When you reach Castelpietra, you turn left for Val Canali and park in Cant del Gal locality (1175 m). If permitted (access is regulated depending on the season), you can continue along Val Canali. In this case, you can park in the large areas on the right side of the road.

Parking
