Malga Stablasolo

Malga Stablasolo is located at 1539 metres above sea level, in Val di Rabbi in the Stelvio National Park, one of Italy’s oldest national parks. One of its strengths is the panoramic position. In the warmer months, in fact, you can taste exquisite cheeses and traditional products of Val di Rabbi, admiring the surrounding countryside from your seat on a comfortable wooden bench.

At the mountain dairy there are various animals, from milk cows to goats, horses, pigs and donkeys. This will allow you to taste a wide variety of dishes, made with fresh and genuine products. Excellent homemade desserts.

In addition, in summer days in the mountain dairy are organised, to allow you to experience, first hand, the daily activities of a “casaro” [dairyman], and to assist in the phases of milk processing.

Nearby there are also the Saent waterfalls.
 

How to get there: you travel Val di Rabbi to the hamlet of “Coler”, where you can leave your car in the Coler parking lot (on payment). From here, it is about a forty minute walk to the mountain dairy.
