The malga covers about 440 acres within the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Park and is run by the Breeders Provincial Federation: from the beginning (1929) one of its aims was to be an example of rational use and conservation of pastures, keeping alive the public's attention to animal husbandry in the mountains and its problems.
