DESCRIPTION
This is one of the most beautiful climbing gardens in the Val Rendena with great routes on fantastic rough granite. featuring fissures, flared cracks and notches. The beauty of these routes and the quality of the rock make this climbing garden one of the most interesting in the Giudicarie area.

PERIOD RECOMMENDED
Apart from the summer, it can be climbed at any time of year! In mid winter the climbing garden is only in the sun from 10 am to 2 pm (not long) but offers outstanding gripping conditions. Avoid in hot weather: in full sun the handholds are difficult to keep hold of.

GETTING TO THE CLIMBING GARDEN
Take the SS239 along the Val Rendena to Carisolo (either from the north or south) and get on to the Val Genova road (signposted). Follow this for about 2 km. Just past an avalanche tunnel there is a large open space (on the left) where you can park.
Climb up through the wood along the track that leads straight up between the boulders. Continue up the path that leads straight through the wood until it starts to bend to the right. Cross a large glacial deposit (omit - you can already catch a glimpse of the climbing garden) and carry on to the base of the wall (20 minutes).

Beautiful. But why bolt like this? Sheer madness. If you fall, you'll be lucky to break just your ankles. Bolting far too spaced out and illogical.
