Ski resort Altopiano di Brentonico - Polsa - S. Valentino
Ski resort Monte Baldo. Skiing, fun and slopes ideal for learning how to ski
Ski resort Polsa-San Valentino, atop the Altopiano di Brentonico, is a well-equipped ski area with artificially induced snow and secure slopes. It is the ideal place for families thanks to a stunning snow park, to many school camps and snow playgrounds, all of which ensure the enjoyment of the entire family.
Particularly well-equipped for teenagers, the ski area atop the Brentonico plateau stretches out on the north side of Monte Baldo, 20km from the motorway exit Rovereto Sud. The ski resort Polsa-San Valentino has 9 lift installations (of which 2 new four-seat chairlifts, ski lifts and moving walkways) that allow descending secure and wide slopes with artificially induced snow, in front of wonderful panoramic views stretching from Lake Garda to the Brenta Dolomites.
Snowboard enthusiasts will be able to use the Double Park Polsa, with halfpipes/jumps for beginners and experts in one of the biggest snowparks in Trentino.
For the kids there are three well-equipped and fun baby snow parks and school camps with moving walkways. In San Valentino there is also a rubber ring slope and an ice rink. The Italian Ski School Monte Baldo has instructors available that are specialised in working with beginners, snowboarders and handicapped persons. If you don’t like skiing but love snow, there are plenty of opportunities for nordic pole walking and snowshoe outings in the Monte Baldo park.
The cross-country ski centre in San Giacomo di Brentonico offers around 20km slopes of varying difficulties. Tuesdays and Thursdays you can ski in the evenings with lighting from between 18:00 and 21:00.
