Lets' Dolomites: a trek across the magical plateau Pale di San Martino with the Alpine Guides!
Three days trek across the Pale di San Martino plateau between retreats, along via ferrata, accompanied by Trentino Mountain Guides
DAY 1: rendezvous, briefing and equipment check with Alpine Guides at the Colverde Rosetta funicular station (2.700 m) for the ascent to the plateau, which you will cross on route 709; approximate 4-hour hike up to the Pradidali retreat (2.278m) for dinner and conversation before your overnight stay.
DAY 2: route 715 through the Ball pass, ascent to the Stefen pass and Val di Roda peak (2.605m). Descent to Porton and along the sides of Sass Maor and Cima Madonna to join the Velo della Madonna equipped route, and on to the retreat (2.358m) where you will have dinner and stay overnight. This second day of trekking will be of approximately 7 hours' duration.
DAY 3: climb to the Stanga peak (2.550m) and follow equipped sections of routes 713 and 721 to return to San Martino di Castrozza, descending over 1.000 metres with continual changes of scenery and landscape.
