The Coe tavern existed as far back as 1861, run by Francesco Plotegher, Roger's great-grandfather. Today this restaurant of typical Trentino cuisine is located in Passo Coe, at an altitude of 1610 metres, on the SP2 provincial road, and is an excellent starting point for various walks and bike paths. The large outdoor terrace is perfect for relaxing while admiring the beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Do not miss the local cheese croquettes with lard and sweet and sour onion, the Teroldego risotto and red radicchio from Trevisano creamed with Vézzena cheese from Lavarone and the salted deer morsels with potatoes and sauerkraut.
