El Pael
In the Strèda Roma plant in Canazei, there is the El Pael restaurant, owned by Roberto Anesi, Italy's best sommelier 2017, who runs it together with his wife Manuela.
The restaurant, (renovated in December 2021) which has a contemporary and comfortable decor with decidedly appealing colours, is one of the most appreciated and recommended in the town of Fassano. Among the specialties to taste are: Schüttelbrot ravioli with speck and smoked ricotta cheese, grilled meats with special cooking at 800° C and the refined "Steak tartare El Pael". Of course, the menu offers several first and second courses, including fish, which follow in the footsteps of Ladin cuisine and Italian cuisine in general. As you can imagine, the presence of a sommelier of the highest level guarantees the restaurant an accurate wine list and, above all, to benefit from infallible advice to match regional, national and international wines of great quality.
