HOSPITALITY

HOSPITALITY

In Trentino hospitality is a character contained in the DNA of its inhabitants, passed down from one generation to the next. It’s the ability to make the guest feel at home. It’s local culture.

A customised hospitality

At every altitude, from the shores of Lake Garda to the most beautiful Dolomites scenery, you can find special oases for families: the Giocovacanza hotels. Equipped with all comforts, including child-friendly rooms, cots and changing tables, bottle  warmers, flexible meal times, personalised menus, baby sitting service and dedicated play areas, they also offer the possibility to try out many activities, discovering new ways of being together. The same philosophy underlies the Family Hotels of Val di Fiemme and Alpe Cimbra. In Val di Fassa you can spend a holiday in the Fassalandia hotels, while Andalo for Family, in the homonymous resort on the Altopiano della Paganella, offers special facilities and a whole world of games, activities and fun. In San Martino di Castrozza, thanks to a rich weekly programme, the Dolomiti Family Fun guarantees enjoyment for children and relaxation for their parents; in Comano, Family Hotels welcome families with children and provide lots of tailored services; in Pinzolo, many Hotels for families with children were the first in Trentino to become part of the Family District.

Diving into rural culture

A journey to discover different lifestyles, in harmony with nature, is proposed by  Agriturismi Trentini (Trentino holiday inns). The butterfly-shaped territory hosts over 400 of them: the spirit here is not only to offer guests high quality genuine products, but also let them take part in their preparation. The tourist becomes a guest of the family, who warmly welcomes him and with whom he can share the knowledge of peasant culture. About 85% of the Trentino holiday inns belong to the “Agriturismo Trentino” club, an association of farmers that promotes production and logistics standards and regulations aiming to offer clients a high-quality service. Twenty four farms have educational facilities, a precious opportunity to bring adults and children closer to rural life, to farming activities, animals and plants.

A holiday in contact with nature

Camping gives a sense of freedom, simplicity and deep contact with nature. You do not have to give up comfort: the vicinity to cycling tracks, away from cars, the presence of playgrounds and customised sanitary facilities make Trentino campsites a perfect solution for a family holiday.

The varied world of Trentino hospitality also offers holiday apartments, grouped together in a dedicated club. They can be found all over the province, with very high quality standards and a choice of sizes from two to ten beds - iinndeal, therefore, also for large families.

Trentino Guest Card. A world of opportunities and advantages

Can you hold Trentino in your pocket? The answer is yes. In a few centimetres, the size of a card - the Trentino Guest Card – there is a whole territory to be discovered and appreciated in all its attractions. The best way to enjoy not just a holiday, but a whole range of experiences involving culture, nature, food & wine and much more.  The card is available at over one thousand hotels, campsites and other accommodation facilities participating in the project, and offers an “experiences-included” package: practically a holiday with more holidays inside, to be lived according to your passions.

For the whole duration of your stay, the Trentino Guest Card allows free travel on provincial public transport means and gives free entry, or consistent discounts, to more than one hundred sites, including museums, castles and visitor centres of the three nature parks in Trentino, spa facilities, acroparks (adventure parks), cellars, hydroelectric power stations and much more.

To round off an already rich range of initiatives, new services are planned for summer 2016, like the free motorboat ride on the waters of Garda Trentino, the Bikebus and the entry to the Fassa Ladin Museum and to BoscoArteStenico. The card also allows to get to know places of great historical and cultural interest, even outside the province, thanks to an agreement with the City of Verona. The collaboration provides an opportunity to visit the Arena and the Modern Art Gallery free of charge.
