Ice Stadium - Folgaria

The Palazzo del Ghiaccio Ice Stadium in Folgaria is located near the Sports Stadium. With its 1,800 m rink (30 m x 60 m) and stands with a seating capacity of 1,600, the Palazzo is the largest covered structure in the lower Trentino area. The Ice Stadium is used to host figure skating competitions, such as the internationally renowned "Stars on Ice" - which highlights some of the most famous international skating champions in the world - as well as international events and exhibitions. The Ice Stadium hosts a number of artistic skating teams during their training, yet also events, concerts, exhibitions and fairs. It features a capacity of up to 3,500 spaces, and its wide indoor spaces are especially ideal to set up press-areas, logistical bases, and organisation offices.

The Palazzo includes a sandwich-bar, an Ice Bar and a skate rental service. Skating classes are also held here. Given its great versatility, the building has been re-named s the "Palafolgaria". Easily reachable on foot from the town-centre via the pedestrian path, the building also provides outdoor and indoor wide parking-lots.
