Cimbrian Imaginary Path - Nå in tritt von Sambinélo
Beautiful and exciting thematic trail, among the most beautiful in Trentino, pleasant journey to discover the Cimbrian tales and legends. Wood carvings and illustrative panels located along the route tell of the characters that populate the local tradition among corners of nature, forests, pastures and views of the Val d'Astico.
The Imaginary Path is a beautiful trail in the woods and pastures of Luserna, inspired by the legends and characters of Cimbrian folk imagery such as Frau Pertega and Tüsele Marüsele. A loop of about 7 km, it can be comfortably covered in a couple of hours, with a slight elevation gain.

Features woodwork by local artists and legends scattered along the route, allowing you to discover the characters that imagination and folk tradition have handed down over the centuries

Beautiful is the section in the middle of the forest with the basilisk-dragon, leading to the small alpine lake with the bear sculpture, until you reach Malga Campo where you can stop and taste simple and genuine dishes. From here we set off again, crossing an expanse of flowering fields, and at the edge of the forest we come across the panel explaining the legend of the Sambinelo, a sprite dressed in red who manifested himself to a woman, causing her to wander for an inner day until she got lost...the spirits of the forest often recur in native tales (and not only): a symbol of a time gone by, they may or may not help the inhabitants, but it is always a good idea to keep them quiet and grant them what they ask for, lest you find yourself dealing with spite.
