Ring of Sopra Besenello for Val dei Vignai

Circular hike that goes up above Besenello for the Val dei Vignai, with panoramic views of Rovereto and the south of Vallagarina, following SAT trails, passing through Masetti and Scanuppia.

<p>Wide loop starting from the industrial area north of Besenello, which starts the climb on the path E454, connecting between the locality Posta Vecchia di Besenello and the Emperor’s Trail.  A walk not too difficult but certainly quite challenging in the first part uphill that requires a good concentration being partially exposed. The slopes of the cemented end, if faced in descent, may seem more comfortable but need special attention especially if the ground is wet or moist.</p> <p>The effort to climb is rewarded by the views of the southern Vallagarina, and the peace and beauty of the stretch in the shade of the forest above. We also recommend visiting the locality of Masetti, the Anzelini Chapel and the Church of the Holy Trinity, which are at the top of the path, before embarking on the descent.</p>
