Mori Alta ring

A scenic loop tracing some parts of the Cammino di San Rocco, passing through the mid-mountain hamlets above Mori, touching on various historical religious sites amidst sweeping views and local culture.

A scenic circular route that embraces history and landscape. Of particular note are the buildings of the Sanctuary of Montalbano, with its historical iconography and enviable panoramic position, the two small churches of San Martino and Sant'Antonio in Nomesino and Manzano, and the church of Santa Maria Assunta in the old part of Mori, as well as the church of Santo Stefano, which dominates the main square of the village. For the most part, the itinerary is based on the Way of St. Roch, path F20, in the first part of its first stage and in the final part of its third stage. It is a varied route that takes the walker from the imposing structure of the sanctuary, to the ancient routes of the first local residents who used them to reach the cultivated fields, taking him to the characteristic neighbouring villages and finally leading him back to the valley via a nature trail first through the woods and finally through the old part of Mori. <p> </p>
