Moena - Malga Roncac
A walk from the centre of Moena up to Malga Roncac, passing through the characteristic and historic "Ciajeole" district.
From Moena's central square, walk up Strada Salejada and Strada de la Madonina, passing by the "del Dante" fountain and the beautiful little church of "Ciajeòle", Moena's oldest district. Continue along Strada de Even and Strada de Roncac until reaching the edge of the village. The view opens out over the whole of Moena, embraced in every direction by the Dolomite peaks. From the last houses, the road climbs with less demanding gradients than before. A couple of bends and you finally reach the Malga Roncac, a characteristic refreshment point surrounded by a larch forest. The panorama towards the San Pellegrino Valley is truly breathtaking. You then return to the village. At the junction with Strada de Even, take to the left Strada de Rancolin > Strada Saslonch > Strada de Moene and follow them to rejoin Strada Salejada, before reaching Piaz de Sotegrava square in a few minutes.
