Turn-by-turn directions

From the parking area you go beyond the “Baita del Manz” and take the forest road (with no entry sign and bar for traffic) following the directions for “Malga Corno”. You travel through a park in “Pradi” locality, at an elevation of 1220 m, and continue along the forest road marked with trail number 1, in the Malga Corno direction.

You reach  “Peschiera” locality at an elevation of 1360 m. Here, you can follow trail no. 1 that enters the woods and reaches Malga Corno directly, or you can follow the forest road towards “Passo della Cisa”, which you reach at 1448 m asl.

Turning to the left, you follow the signs for “Malga Corno, walking some of the time on the forest road and some of the time on a path, until you reach the mountain hut.

To return, you follow the same route backwards.

Getting there

From Lavis, you follow road SS612 della Valle di Cembra to Capriana. You go to the top of the village and follow the paved road with signs for “Prà del Manz”, which leads to the place with this name, where you can park. Here there is also an ample park with benches, tables, and play areas for children.
