Palaronda is a holiday offer for those seeking to enjoy the mountains in their essence and discover the austere beauty of the Pale di San Martino range
Have you ever experienced the thrill of an itinerant trek? Have you ever slept, together with your travelling companions, in the dormitory of an Alpine mountain hut at an altitude of 2,500 m a.s.l. after a full day of trekking over the Pale di San Martino range, featuring the majestic and elegant "coral peaks"?
Palaronda is a holiday itinerary for those who appreciate the mountains in their true essence and who wish to rediscover the austere beauty that has attracted foreign travellers and alpine excursionists since the end of the 19th century.
Come and explore the plateau, the mysterious stone tableland suspended at an altitude of over 2000 metres above sea level, fifty square kilometres of naked rock, tormented as if it were a storm-beaten ocean, cut through by deep and never-ending clefts. Pointed spires, knife-sharp edges, superb cathedrals of stone, towering peaks lost in the clouds...
The tour consists in a circuit that takes 4 or 5 days of trekking, with overnight stays in mountain huts. The trek is without a tour guide (tour guide available only on request and for an extra fee). This tour is only for adequately equipped and well trained hikers.
