White War Museum in Vermiglio

This museum houses a collection of finds by Emilio Serra, who carried out constant research in the Val di Sole mountains. The exhibition opens with a huge geographical map of the Empire in 1909. On display are weapons, uniforms, and soldiers’ personal effects. Skis, ice crampons, snow shoes and overshoes in straw for the lookouts show just how hard life was in the high mountains. The museum is part of the Trentino World War One museum circuit.
