World Snow Day
Explore, have fun, experience. Discover something new and spend an unforgettable day. All this will happen during the Day worldwide dedicated to the snow: pure white flakes, children and much fun are waiting for you on the slopes of Passo San Pellegrino!
The World Ski Day is a project promoted by the FIS (International Ski Federation) to bring children and young people into winter sports. Several ski areas all over the world, including Val di Fassa, take part in this initiative with special events proposing activities for the whole family, live music and a rich entertainment programme for the children. Descents on sledges and igloo building, ski competitions and contests.
On Sunday, 15th January, on Passo San Pellegrino the ski school Moena Dolomiti waits for all the children. There will even be a meeting with the local police, to explain the rules of conduct on the lifts and on the slopes to the participants. Freeride lessons will follow. During the day, by the bottom station of the Gigante chairlift, the FIS village will be staged, where gadgets and snacks will be distributed to the young champions.
