The Sounds of the Dolomites

The shores of the clear Bombasel mountain lakes will serve as the venue for the Trio Italiano d’Archi concert. Born from the ashes of the original line-up including Franco Gulli, Bruno Giuranna and Giacinto Caramia, the new Trio Italiano d'Archi was relaunched in 2018 by Alessandro Milani, Luca Ranieri and Pierpaolo Toso. A trio of well-known musicians who performed as first soloists in the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai on the first violin, first viola, and first cello, respectively.

The Trio Italiano d’Archi is synonymous with excellence. It has performed at leading concert halls in Italy and abroad, opened the Cappella Paolina Concert Festival at the Quirinale attended by the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, and in 2019 made its debut in the People’s Republic of China with two concerts in Beijing. The trio has collaborated with numerous internationally renowned artists, and on many occasions has performed debut pieces composed especially for the concert. Besides releasing albums, they have also done television and radio performances for Rai.
