The Sounds of the Dolomites

A jazz event at the Lavazè Pass, framed by the majestic Latemar and Catinaccio mountain ranges, the Corno Bianco and the Corno Nero. In a special event for I Suoni delle Dolomiti (The Sounds of the Dolomites), artists Andrea Dulbecco, Alessandro Bianchini, Marco Micheli and Enzo Zirilli will pay tribute to the music of Chick Corea. This quartet embodies a wide range of musical training and experience, from classical to modern, with forays into the world of jazz.

In addition to Chick Corea, the programme will also include original improvisations and compositions, in true jazz style. The line-up will entertain the audience with a vibraphone and marimba in place of a piano, overlaying the rhythm section (bass and drums). In order to pay utmost respect to each element’s musical personality and expressive aesthetic, the concert is centred on enhancing the expressive qualities of the vibraphone, the instrument that best lends itself to the music of the legendary Chick Corea.
