Avalon Jazz Band con Tatiana Eva-Marie
Described by The New York Times as a “gypsy-jazz nightingale”, it is only fitting that Tatiana Eva-Marie and the Avalon Jazz Band (Gabe Terracciano violin, Dennis Pol guitare and Wallace Stelzer double bass) should bring their music to the nature of the Prati Col at the foot of the Pale di San Martino.
Deservedly named one of the rising stars of jazz by Vanity Fair and "one of the best young singers around" by The Wall Street Journal, Tatiana Eva-Marie has already performed at the best jazz festivals, including New Orleans Jazz, the Heritage Festival and Jazz Aspen Snowmass. Tatiana Eva-Marie possesses a curious and lively musical soul.
This is thanks to her French and Balkan roots and her love for the ambience of the 1920s - 1960s Parisian art scene and New Orleans gypsy music, rhythms and sounds, all fused with a passion for the Great American Songbook. Using these as her benchmarks, the singer immerses herself in the music of Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet, Cole Porter and other French jazz musicians. Her unique lyrics and daring arrangements have become the distinct signature of this young star.
