The North Face Snow Events
Full day snowshoes excursion: two itineraries on two different levels
The North Face - Never Stop, together with the Val di Fassa mountain guides, Sport Check Point and Amplatz Sport, organizes three days of free outdoor activities, offered by the famous clothing brand. On Thursday, 1st February 2018, 2 full-day snowshoes excursions offer an unforgettable experience on the snow.
- EASY full-day snowshoes excursion:
Snowshoes easy excursion (max. 15 participants) in the wood, at the foot of Vernel and Marmolada.
Length: about 8 km, altitude gap: about 100 m
Programme:
- 9.30 a.m.: meeting by the stand "The North Face" in the square Piaz Marconi in Canazei
- 10.00 a.m.: departure by the sawmill in Penia
- Lunch-break by the Ristorante Hotel Villetta Maria in loc. Pian Trevisan
- 4.00 p.m.: return to Canazei
A briefing will take place on the previous day, on Wednesday, 31st January 2018, at 5.30 p.m. by the stand The North Face in the square Piaz Marconi, to provide info and updates about the weather forecast and the snow condition. The event could be cancelled for safety reasons.
Mandatory equipment: ski or winter hiking clothing, hiking shoes and backpack.
- MEDIUM full-day snowshoes excursion:
Snowshoes medium level excursion (max. 15 participants) at the foot of he Sella massif and of Pordoi.
Length: about 5 km, altitude gap: about 400 m
Programme:
- 9.30 a.m.: meeting by the stand "The North Face" in the square Piaz Marconi in Canazei
- 10.00 a.m.: departure from the parking in loc. Pian de Schiavaneis
- Lunch-break in a mountain haut in loc. Lupo Bianco
- 4.00 p.m.: return to Canazei
