Tesero: epic bike challenge with 27,000 meters of height difference
The bike challenge will start in Tesero at 10.30 pm: riders will have no support and time will never stop.
The 1,200 km long trail has a difference in height of 27,000 meters. Bike riders will have maximum 115 hours (race style) or 175 hours (challenge style) to climb the passes and mountain peaks of Passo Rombo, Passo Resia, Passo Stelvio and Passo Gavia, Passo Crocedomini and Monte Baldo, Passo Sommo, Passo Vezzena, Monte Grappa, Passo San Boldo, Passo Sant'Osvaldo, Forcella Pala Barzana, Passo Rest, Passo della Mauria and Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Passo Furcia, Passo Gardena, Passo Pinei, Passo Nigra and Passo Pampeago.
The ferry to cross the Garda lake will be available for about 12 hours. Just like during the best world competitions, riders will be constantly tracked and their position will be available online in real time thanks to an app. GPS-GSM devices will be provided by T-Track GPS.
