Taste the sunset on Sass Pordoi
Cheese and products from Val di Fassa paired with Trentodoc mountain sparkling wine, on one of the most spectacular terraces of the Dolomites
Getting on the rooftop of the Dolomites, at almost 3000 m of altitude, at Sass Pordoi, to enjoy not only a landscape that will leave you breathless, but also an aperitif "farm to table", with "Mèlga de Fascia’s" cheese, "Birrificio Rampeèr’s" craft beer, the peculiar flavours of N'Outa and the tasty apples "La Trentina" as stars, explained by the ones that produce them. Rifugio Maria will combine them all with a gourmet proposal 100% made in Val di Fassa, available in a kids’ version as well. For real cheese lovers, or for the ones that want to learn something more about local dairy excellence, an amusing Cheese Quiz with prize. The location? Definitely one of Dolomites’ TOP10, an exclusive place to admire a 360° sunset on UNESCO’s most famous summits: from Sella to Marmolada. In conclusion, an occasion to be seized… by cable car!

The price includes the shuttle there and back + the round trip with the cable car, open specifically for the occasion + tasty, narrated aperitif and nice gadget "La Trentina". Reservation required, maximum 50 people.
Programme:
- 4.45 p.m. - meeting at the valley station of Belvedere lifts in Canazei (without skis), where the shuttle will be waiting for you;
- 5.00 p.m. - all aboard! The shuttle will take you to the valley station of Sass Pordoi cable car;
- 5.30 p.m. - let’s go! You will reach the renowned Sass Pordoi at almost 3000 mt of altitude by cable car. Dress warmly but, most of all, enjoy the ride! In the meantime watch this thrilling video, maybe you’ll find our friend Pablo at your boarding!
- From 6.00 to 7.00 p.m. - Maurizio and Rifugio Maria’s staff will be waiting for you for a narrated aperitif 100% made in Val di Fassa in the company of the producers: from the cheese by "Mèlga de Fascia", reworked by the Chef’s fantasy and paired with mostardas and syrups by "N'Outa", served in Utol’s ceramic bowls, to the typical craft beer by "Birrificio Rampeèr" and, for the little ones, the tasty apple juice by "La Trentina". These will be the ingredients of a rich gourmet proposal, which will also be starred by a steaming soup, to be enjoyed in a friendly way, discovering properties and fun facts of the raw materials that make it up through a fun and tasty Cheese Quiz. Between one taste and the other, don’t forget to look outside: Ladies and Gentlemen, the magic of sunset, the renowned "Enrosadira", goes on stage, with a view ranging at 360° on the most famous Dolomites summits;
- 7.10 p.m. - descent with the cable car and return with the shuttle to Canazei. You’ll be back between 7.30 and 8.00 p.m.
The experience can be reserved online up until two days before the event. When booking it’s possible to signal:
- Any food intolerance, in order to meet your needs at best;
- The will to reach Pordoi Pass with your own car - meeting at 5.30 p.m. at the valley station of the cable car, giving up the shuttle service (no discount applied).
Super Green Pass required for people over 12 years old. The event will take place respecting the current COVID rules. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Thursday the 3rd of March.
