"Tango Macondo" is the story of Matoforu, a Sardinian "metaphor seller" and his great love, Anzelina Bisocciu, his singer.
It is a journey into a territory "on the border between delirium and geography" that starts from Mamoiada in Sardinia, the village in Barbagia of the legendary Carnival and its devilish and grotesque masks, and comes to cross Macondo, the imaginary country born from the dreamlike and mythical universe of Gabriel García Márquez with all its baggage of visions and prodigies.
