Epiphany parade and concert
Concert by the Choir of the Brotherhood of the Star of Faedo
On Saturday 7 January at 5.30 p.m., the Choir of the Brotherhood of the Star of Faedo, founded in 2005, will revive the traditional Epiphany rite. Since its foundation, the choir has been committed to researching and re-proposing the ancient "Stella" songs, rigorously performed by ear as in the ancient tradition. The repertoire includes pieces such as "Fra l'orrido rigor di stagion cruda", "In notte placida", "I tre Re dell'Oriente", "La notte di Natale", "L'Unico Figlio dell'eterno Padre", "Puer Natus", "I Tre Re continuatamente", "Tu scendi dalle stelle", "Le Beghenate". The ensemble consists of around 30 elements and is conducted by Maestro Giovanni Filippi.
