Saslong Half Marathon
Spectacular mountain running race around the Langkofel group. Start and finish line in Monte Pana
21 km off-road, through dirt tracks and mountain paths, 900 m of elevation gain, maximum height of 2,363 m: these are the numbers of the fourth edition of Saslong Half Marathon, which winds through one of the most charming routes in the Dolomites, circumnavigating Langkofel mountain group. After the start from Monte Pana, runners will reach Emilio Comici Refuge and then Sella Pass and Col Rodella, where they’ll take path no. 557/557-4, commonly known as Friedrich August Weg. After passing Sandro Pertini Refuge and reaching Sasso Piatto Refuge, they will start the long descent back to Monte Pana, where the first runners are expected at around 10.35 a.m.
The competition, organised by ASV Gherdeina Runners, is open to beginners and professionals.
