Sand Stories
"Il sogno di Tartaruga" (Tortoise's Dream) is the African fairy tale told by Andrea Lugli of "Il Baule Volante" through amusing puppets depicting animals of the savannah and the enthralling music on ethnic musical instruments played by Mauro Pambianchi and Stefano Sardi
Tortoise had a dream. He dreamt about a tree that was in a secret place. On the branches of the tree grew all the fruits of the earth: bananas, dates, coconuts, melons, millet, sweet potatoes, cassava and many others. Tortoise told his dream to the other animals, and they all laughed. The tale of this wonderful tree comes from Africa, a continent we all dream of, a land we imagine full of colours, sounds and rhythms, of an exuberant and vital nature. And this is how the Social Promotion Association "Il Baule Volante" tells the story with liveliness and lots of music, as in a dream. The protagonists are the animals of the savannah, represented by visually animated puppets. The music is performed live on African rhythms and instruments, with all their energy, capable of involving spectators of all ages.
At 5.00 p.m. in the "Piaz G. Marconi" square. In case of bad weather at the cinema theater "Marmolada". Free entry.
