The hardest short run in the world!
Running for 400 metres doesn’t sound like much of a challenge, does it? But what if you were to run those 400m in a difference of altitude of 135m?
Well, this race will put some strain on your calves, quads… and endurance.
Red Bull 400 was born to conquer the most spectacular ski jumping hills across Europe and North America and, for the fourth time in Italy, in Val di Fiemme, in the Ski Jumping Stadium of Predazzo, will push the sprinters of all over the world over their limits.
This Predazzo’s competition is part of the circuit involving 18 countries worldwide. The award-winning athletes will be the runners able to reach the top of the ski jumping hill in the shortest time possible. A very tough run with a max 38° incline (78%) along just 400 metres.
Over two thousand people gathered on Saturday 4th July 2019 in Predazzo to attend the third Italian edition of Red Bull 400.
The winner among the Men category was the Austrian Jakob Mayer with a time of 3'32'', followed by the Slovenian Luka Kovacic (3'41'') and the local Stefano Gardener (3'43'').
Among the women, Italian podium with the Antonella Confortola (5'10''), Agata Marchi (5'22") and Barbara Vasselai (5'35").
