"A spas co la mùsega"
Evening stroll along the central "Strada de Meida" in Pozza, enlivened by music, art shows, children's entertainment and delicious traditional Ladin sweets
Tonight, don't make any plans: "A Spas co la mùsega" is on. The centre of Pozza, starting at 9.15 p.m., is reserved exclusively for pedestrians. "Strada de Meida" (with the squares Piaza del Malghèr, Piaza Deodat de Dolomieu, and Piaza de Comun) is filled with melodies and liveliness with itinerant concerts with all kinds of different rhythms: from band tunes skilfully performed by the "Musega de Poza" to rock-pop notes and blues nuances by local bands. Entertainment, shows and traditional local sweets enrich the evening.
Situated at the widest point of the valley, Pozza owes its name to the presence, since ancient times, of several puddles created by the meeting of the Avisio and Ruf de San Nicolò streams and is today characterised by the presence of the sulphurous "Aloch" spring, whose benefits can be appreciated at the Terme Dolomia and QC Terme Dolomiti. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful peaks in the valley, Pozza also boasts several buildings of historical interest, such as the "Torn", the landmark tower of the Fassa judiciary which also housed the prisons for a period of time.
In case of bad weather the concerts will be held in the events pavilion. Free admission.
