The mostly dirt track route crosses the Vallombrosa Park and then climbs to the characteristic Alpine farmsteads in Sante Caterine and Guastaie, before descending along the Ampezan mule track to reach the Colaor chapel first and then the Melas, ending in the picturesque historic city centre boasting important monuments such as the Romanesque church of San Martino, the Gothic archpriest's church and the 15th-century Palazzo delle Miniere.
The circuit starts at 710 m asl, is 3.6 km long (with an elevation of 240 m) to be travelled 4 times over in the elite category, for a total of 14.4 km and an elevation of 960 m. The Senior, Promesse and Senior Master male categories (up to SM55) will do three laps, for a total of 10.2 km and an elevation of 690 m.
