Saon
Workshop exhibition on the fascinating world of soap bubbles, at the primary school in Vigo
Because soap bubbles make it possible to approach some important concepts and results of mathematics in a simple and direct way. What secrets
do bubbles hide? How many different ways can they be made? This special exhibition is structured in three areas: a room-laboratory in which you can have fun with bubbles, games and mathematical puzzles; a room with a guided tour of the exhibition "Transparent mathematics - minimal surfaces and soap bubbles" realised by the University of Trento; the "Bubbles of whys" room that reveals other secrets of soap (in Ladin "Saon") and bubbles. A workshop exhibition on the mathematics that is all around us, the powerful language that helps us answer several questions. We just have to ask why. Maths has never been so much fun!
The exhibition is open to everyone, no age limit. Organised by the Social Cooperative "INOUT" and the students of the Ladin School of Fassa, in partnership with the Vich Events Committee.
Ticket price: 7 € full price; 5 € reduced (up to 10 years); free for children under 5 years and over 65. For Val di Fassa residents and Val di Fassa Guest Card holders 2 € discount. At different times only for groups and upon reservation. Duration of guided tour: about 1 hour.
