Val di Fiemme, the valley of Harmony, will host for the second time the International Congress Europiano. More than 400 professional piano tuners, technicians and designers from all over Europe are expected. From the 20th to 24th of May the modern congress center PalaFiemme in Cavalese will host the 4-languages sessions of Europiano 2018, among piano concerts and jam sessions
The most awaited moment will be the concert by piano duo Stefano Bollani and Francesco Grillo playing on two Fazioli instruments, which will be held in conference building Palafiemme in Cavalese on Tuesday 22nd May at 9 pm.
The eclectic and charismatic composer, pianist, singer, writer, actor, radio and TV presenter Stefano Bollani will be back in Trentino, where he had already participated in various editions of the high altitude music festival "Sounds of the Dolomites". To him, in 2012, Val di Fiemme and the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme dedicated a tonewood spruce in the "Sounding Forest", a music route in Valmaggiore, above Predazzo, where spruces are named after great musicians.
Bollani will play with Francesco Grillo, a bold pianist and composer who recently wrote and recorded with Sony Music a piano transcription of The Four Seasons by Vivaldi. This work, apparently extravagant, has achieved resounding success.
