The CAI SAT Alta Fassa celebrates 50 years of activity. Painting exhibiition by the alpine guide Giuliano Mazzel

One of the most active sections of the CAI SAT, the one from the upper Val di Fassa, celebrates thesedays fifty years of history and activity. After the foundation in autumn 1969, the first meeting took place in February 1970 and since that moment, initiatives and associated have been increasing no-stop. The important anniversary will be celebrated with: the painting exhibiition by the alpine guide Giuliano Mazzel, entitled "Our Dolomites, Unesco World Heritage Site", by the Town Council of Canazei from 5.00 to 7.00 p.m. On September 13th, instead, with departure by the cable car Belvedere in Canazei, guided didactic-cultural excursion (open to members and interested) with laying of the plates on the monumental trees. Finally, on September 15th, Holy Mass (at 10.30 a.m.) by the parish church in Campitello and lunch by the Fassa Park in Canazei.
