Opera Gran Gala
The most beautiful opera arias are masterfully interpreted by the singers of the international masterclass of the cultural association "Le Muse e le Dolomiti"
Since 2013, the cultural association "Le Muse e le Dolomiti" in Falcade, thanks to its president Oda Zoe Hochscheid, has aimed to enhance the Dolomite territory through classical music. To achieve this goal, it aims to build bridges between the amateur and professional worlds, combining the organisation of concerts and performances with targeted training. In fact, for over 10 years, an international summer masterclass in opera singing has been offered in Falcade, welcoming singers from California, China, Japan, South Korea and Italy. Thanks to world-famous masters such as Adelisa Tabiadon and Loris Peverada, the young people who take part in this course, with the desire to then embark on a professional career, have the opportunity to refine their technique in the operatic repertoire, but also to try their hand at sacred music and chamber music. In addition to the masterclass, the association offers amateur singing courses, aimed mainly at adults. It has founded the Interregional Singing and Theatre School for children and young people, with venues in the valleys of Fassa, Fiemme and Agordo, with the ambition of creating a unique children's choir.
The concert in Moena is the last stage of the masterclass that will keep the participants busy for ten days, ending with a Grand Opera Gala that will touch the chords of the soul. Among the artists who will take the stage in Moena is a young singer from the Val di Fassa who, also thanks to the organisation's training offer, has found her way to the "Claudio Abbado" Civic School in Milan.
Wednesday 26 July at 9 p.m. at the "Navalge" Theatre. Admission free.
